Date increment help needed Can't Post

Hello,

I am working with a script that needs to increment the date...

for exmaple: take todays date and add 14 days to it...

but I'm not sure how to code it, and the boss has borrowed my Perl book and hasnt returned it :(

Any hints/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

TIA!
Jim

Re: Date increment help needed [In reply to] Can't Post

Read up on 'perldoc -f localtime' and 'perldoc Time::Local'

$backToTheFuture = 60*60*24; # seconds in one day

print "It's ", scalar(localtime(time + 14*$backToTheFuture)), "\n";
