Mime decoding Can't Post

Hey can anyone write an article on how to decode mime/base64 files. I have been working on a POP3 email program and the only thing I can't seem to get is how to allow the user to download the files or see them in their email. I have looked at the Mime modules and guess I just don't understand them. I have seen several request for help on this in the forums so I figure maybe someone that has done it before could write and let the rest of us in on the secret. hehe

thanks

Re: Mime decoding [In reply to] Can't Post

Have you checked out the documentation for the Mime::Base64 module? That has a lot of good info. Also, there are a couple of articles already available on the subject.
http://www3.innosoft.com/~chris/encodings.html
http://sunmoon.pair.com/vec/chin/decoder.html
http://kb.indiana.edu/data/aepm.html
http://kb.indiana.edu/data/aclk.html?cust=9712

We're keeping a list of requested article types. Once an author expresses knowledge of Base64, we'll request the article. Thank you for the suggestion!
