matching between two files in different machines?? Can't Post

Hello all...

I have a Mobile agents frame work..so I am sending an agent from linux machine to windows..

this is the code of the agent which I am sending

I have this code:
use File::Tail;
$|++;
$name="C:\\users\\Mizo\\desktop\\log.txt;

$file=File::Tail->new(name=>$name, maxinterval=>1,interval=>1, adjustafter=>1);
while (defined($line=$file->read)) {
if ($line=~/^Request:.*rules\.txt/i){
print "$line";
}
}

Sorry.. there was something wrong..

It's not the full thread .

My question was..

The mobile agents framework send this code from linux to windows..

to watch Log.txt file and match it with rules.txt

but rules.txt is in linux

how to make make a match with it

is there a possible way to send the .txt file with the agent to the windows machine?
