crypt() and passwords Can't Post

I was just wondering if you guys could have a tutorials on using the crupt() function, as well as having users log-in to access a certain website. I know you'd have to use an if, then statement, but I'm still a newbie, and this would really help. Thanks!

Re: crypt() and passwords [In reply to] Can't Post

I have an initial document that explains the use of crypt(), and also explains the most secure encryption scheme. It's on my web site, and I'd be happy to expand on it and make it an article for the forum.

If you could do that I would be very pleased. Especially using real world examples, as I learn better from examples. Thanks!!
