wierd symbols in perldoc Can't Post

Greetings Perl community,

I'm reading along in perldoc perlfunc, when I start to run in to wierd symbols. See attachment. These wierd symbols make it... challenging... to read the documentation.

I found this page, which describes how to fix this for man pages:
http://www.walkernews.net/2007/09/26/how-to-fix-weird-character-in-linux-man-page/
... but it doesn't help perldoc.

Anyone know how to fix?

Re: [jedihawk] wierd symbols in perldoc [In reply to] Can't Post

I have this issues as well on Fedor Core 10. you can make it display properly by typing the following

Code
LANG=C perldoc CGI.pm

Hope this works for you.
