Just want to start off by saying that you have a great sight and that I visit often, As much to learn from questions others have asked than to ask my own.
OK, Two questions...
1.) Is there a way to tell what modules are installed when you have limited access to the server. i.e. Your sight is hosted, and you only have access to your directories.
Support is not offered my the host for CGI issues. They offer the ability to run scripts but do not support them, so not much help to ask... Any other way that I can check? I hate to install the modules that I want to use in my local directories if they are already installed my the host..
2.)I want to write a scrit that will always be running. Have never done anything like this, have always writen scripts that have been called by the user. How do I activate the script initially? The script will run in the background and update a file or two as need be.
Any help would be greatly apriciated...
