suggest the best and earliest way to learn perl Can't Post

Hey folks,

Am new to perl but not to IT, I have been working since 09 years in various areas such as Oracle, mainframes and now I stepped into the role which demands to write ETL scripts in perl. Please suggest me any material or which is the best and earliest way to learn. I did worked on c , c++ prior.

Rgds,

Vinay

ETL is extraction, transformation, and loading.

I suggest you get the PERL CD BOOKSHELF version 3.0 it comes with several perl books on CD. Find them on amazon.com for a few dollars.
