Access Excel file from perl with MS Excel installation Can't Post

i have a perl script which takes the inputs from the Excel file and writes to a excel file. i need this script to work on a test machine where MS-Office is not installed.

Can we have a way to acheive this?

Thanks

Spreadsheet::ParseExcel - Extract information from an Excel file

Spreadsheet::WriteExcel - Write to a cross-platform Excel binary file.

Thanks for the reply.

with the modules i could able to write the excel sheet "perl.xls" and read the same excel sheet "perl.xls".

But for some other excel sheet like "input.xls" which i created in other machine and copied to the current machine, the module could not able to read the excel sheet.

Thanks in advance,
Venkat
