I have created a cgi program that is up and running on the Explorer browser, but when I test it on Netscape it goes through onetwo pages then stops. Does any one else have a problem like that or know what the compatability problem might be? TIA, Dreamer

[In reply to] Can't Post If it is not printing out the whole page in netscape I would look to your HTML code. Make absolutly sure the code works in both browsers. You can do this by anticipating what that page should look like and then creating a static HTML page with the supposed results. If it comes out ok then you have another issue. Netscape itself would not have a problem with the program as it runs on the server not the client.

[In reply to] Can't Post I think that the problem is in HTML and not in the script perhaps you used layers or tables, you must know that Netscape and Internet Explorer are not compatible for the layers and tables .

Do you use Netscape as well as Explorer? Would you consider checking on both pages to see what I mean? Netscape prints out two of the pages, then just comes up with the header and footer, hence the program stops. If you, or any one that has both Explorer and Netscape would look at this and let me know, I would appreciate it. (use Explorer first so that you know what it is supposed to be doing). http://trinitypages.com ... then on the frame click on the web. TIA, Dreamer

[In reply to] Can't Post I have used tables, but the pages look okay in Netscape (that's what I was checking after making sure explorer looked okay). However, that doesn't explain why Netscape will print out 2 of the pages in the cgi script and not the others. I'm going through now and trying all kinds of variations in my script to see if it will work on Netscape (it is a multi-page, multi-submit cgi). All of your posts are appreciated, and thanks are given now and in advance.

I know that it does work (it is up and running). The problem is that when I went to my pages using Netscape it wouldn't complete the entire cgi pages (no error messages though.) It might be better if someone else tested the pages using Explorer and then Netscape in order to see what I'm talking about. Thanks, Dreamer
