Executing stored procs from perl Can't Post

Hi All

I am new to perl and i have got soem questions.

1: How we can execute stored proc from DBI.

2: I need to call an oracle function that return some value that i need to use. Can anyone plz explain how to achieve the same.

i am tryn like `select <functionName> from dual`;

Hi vpahwa,

There is no standard method for executing stored procedures from DBI. For Oracle, check out:
http://www.orafaq.com/wiki/Perl#Invoke_stored_procedures_with_DBI
