.pl banner rotation Can't Post

HI everybody!

I badly need a Pearl script, that ends in .pl, that is a banner roation thingy for ads. All i can find are nes that end in .cgi, not .pl. You know those ones where you can set the likelyness of one banner to appear more than another, and stuff like that. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated,(so would a script!)<VBG>. If you know of one, please let me know. Thanks!

Re: .pl banner rotation [In reply to] Can't Post

Any particular reason you want a .pl and not a .cgi? In most cases, you can just change the name of a .cgi file to .pl.

Of course, if the program is looking for itself, you may need to do a little editing inside the file to change references from .cgi to .pl (this, in most instances, will not be necessary).

A popular banner rotation program is WebAdverts, which has the features your mentioned -- and it uses a .pl extension Wink

FYI -- it's Perl, not Pearl (Practical Extraction and Reporting Language) Smile
