users thru perl	Can't Post

Hi,

friends i need a script to implement in Linux .

i have some usernames and passwords in ms excel or .csv file.

my script should read that excel file and create the users and the passwords as per the excel sheet.

for example below is my excel file

usersnames passwords

janxy1 password@12

febxct2 pass@34

Any help can be appreciated

What have you tried?

What portion of the task is giving you trouble?

I'm assuming you have code that you're testing, so what errors/warnings does your code produce?

If you need to parse an excel file, you could start with this CPAN module:
http://search.cpan.org/~kwitknr/Spreadsheet-ParseExcel-0.2603/ParseExcel.pm

If you need to parse a CSV file, you could start with this CPAN module:
http://search.cpan.org/~hmbrand/Text-CSV_XS-0.69/CSV_XS.pm
