multiple perl scripts at a time Can't Post

Hi,

i have a shell script which runs two perl scripts. Is there a way i can run these two scripts at a time. both perl scripts should run parallel.

here is my shell script scheduler.sh start. start is the command line argument i pass to shell script

Code

if [ -n $1 -a $1 = 'start' ];
then
perl AD.pl;
perl parentMonitor.pl AD;

fi

I have to run AD.pl and parentMonitor.pl at a time.

Thanks

That would be a question for a shell scripting forum, not perl.

As FishMonger said, this is a Shell problem, but why don't you simply run the first one (or both) in background?

In most shells, this is done by putting a & at the end of the line.
