I have a perl script that scans an email for viruses and spam but it actually calls spamassassin and ClamAV command. The problem is when a customer will "cc" 10 or so people at our office causing us to get 10 emails at once, it opens up 10 seperate processes for ClamAV and it lags down the system heavily!
Using the ClamAV engine
Is there a more efficient way of using ClamAV? How difficult would it be to tap into the ClamAV engine? I don't know if that's over my head or not but I thought it would be worth asking.
