How to clone a Directory? Can't Post

This is like black magic! No one seems to know a perl script that will permit me to create a copy of a directory.

Need a simple cut and paste script.

Please anyone help!

Thank you all for your prompt replies.

I have found a solution at 2:30 a.m.

You guys are great!

Maybe sometime I will be able to help someone else.

All the best,

Will the directory have any other directorys in it or will it just be files?

er... a easy solution is a system call , like this:

$orig_dir = '/mydir';
$dest_dir = '/mydir2';

system("cp -r $orig_dir $dest_dir");

----------

this will copy the files in the directory...
