Perl Execute remote thread Can't Post

Hi,

I am writing an application for Windows to read and analyse several backup logs.

I think Perl is the best option to accomplish this (logs can be 200 Mb text files) but they are on remote servers so communications lines are also important, moving 200 Mb over the WAN is not possible neither practical.

Is there any module or way to execute a remote thread (windows) on pearl.

I've been asking google for a while with no success.

Cheers,

Salva.
