clearing the screen Can't Post

until ($kill eq "$killnum") {
print FILE "$kill"."|"."$line[$kill]";
print "$kill"."|"."$line[$kill]";

I am opening a pipe delimited database.
first i want to append the database.
next i want to print to the screen what line i am printing.

Because the database has 250 lines, i want to clear the screen after printing, but before incrementing $kill.

otherwise there would be 255 lines of database printed to the screen.

how do i clear the screen in cgi?

Re: clearing the screen [In reply to] Can't Post

I could only think that after your finished printing all the data to the screen then to print this.

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="1; URL=http://url.cgi?do=nothing">

and in the cgi i'd put somthing like.

if ($in{'do'} eq "nothing")

Other than that I'm not sure.
