3,Kevin Garnett,$16,400,000
4,Rasheed Wallace,$5,854,000

This is a couple lines from a text file I want to import into spss with players, rank and salary in separate columns. THe program uses commas to separate different entries, which means it is chopping the salary into three different numbers. I need to get rid of the commas in the salary figures. I also need to get rid of the dollar signs so the numbers dont get read as strings. Anyone who could writea script to do this would have my undying gratitude.
