Re-authenticate Can't Post

I'm running some Perl Scripts in a directory that is .htpasswd protected. The problem is that once I log in as "UserA" I cannot exit the directory and then relog in as "UserB" is there a way in Perl I can control the length of a session or is this more of an .htaccess thing.

Re: Re-authenticate [In reply to] Can't Post

I think this has more to do with how the server admins set up the access. I have the same thing on my web hosting server. The access must be cached somewhere and "expired" after some time. Contact your server admins to see if they can do something about it. But if they have lots of sites using .htaccess, they may not be willing to modify the expiration since, but I'm not sure about this, they must use the same settings for the whole server... btw, it seems you can set up different "accounts" with different passwords and usernames with your server. Is that right? I tought the .htaccess could only contain one username/password combination, but I may be wrong about this...
