Is there a way to compile a perl script into an executable file

Yes, but it's not 4 free, check out
www.perl2exe.com

And read about perlcc which is on linux/unix machines, it's like the gcc to c++ except for perl, and it's EXPERIMENTAL. If you have shell access to your server, type, "man perlcc" to read more.

ActiveState claims that perlcc should work on Windows. Just install ActivePerl (www.activestate.com/activeperl), or any other perl, and run the perlcc.bat file for all the instructions.

I haven't managed to get it to work on Windows myself - kept returning errors no matter how simple the script - but that could just be my system.

Ok Thanks, I already download and try the perl2exec for linux. And the perlcc
