Perl2Exe Can't Post

Hi, I want to be able to compile my program to where it will work on Unix/Linux systems w/out problems. I have heard perl2exe can do this, but my program uses DBI and DBD modules as well as a few others, what do i do about that???? How would i go about compiling it to an executable??? Could I compile it from my windows machine and then upload it to my server???

Re: Perl2Exe [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi, I've played with perl2exe, and if you have their compiler for windows 98 or whatever windows plat you have, you can have the compiler compile you code to run on linux/unix plats by way of a simple switch. I didn't get it to work though, but that's there story on the site. heh, I actually gave up on it as soon as I realized they added a little snippet of text saying this is only a demo bla bla bla,

Also, if you include another file/module, the compiler should take that into consideration and bring in the code. I'm not sure about it though, I just wanted to let you know about the linux thing.
