CGI::Session::Serialize::default issue
|
Can't Post

Hello, I have been experiencing problems regarding the CGI::Session::Serialize::default module on my 1and1 shared web host. I have had bad experiences with my host throughout my time with them, and I don't trust what they tell me as they have lied to me numerous times in the past. They tell me that its a problem their end, and they are doing everything they can to fix it, and keep telling me it will be a couple of hours. Its now been 24 hours and i've lost a few hundred pounds of business. I wanted to check if anyone is able to expand on my error messages. Here is one from one of my websites:
couldn't load CGI::Session::Serialize::default: "sub_generation" is not exported by the B module Can't continue after import errors at /usr/lib/perl5/Safe.pm line 6 BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/lib/perl5/Safe.pm line 6. Compilation failed in require at /usr/share/perl5/CGI/Session/Serialize/default.pm line 6. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/share/perl5/CGI/Session/Serialize/default.pm line 6. Compilation failed in require at (eval 8) line 3. and another which fundametally uses the CGI::Session module in another way:
Can't locate object method "freeze" via package "CGI::Session::Serialize::default" at /usr/share/perl5/CGI/Session.pm line 217. Please if possible, can anybody assure me that if the scripts were working for over 2 years before, that its highly unlikely a problem my end that I have caused (I haven't made changes to the scripts in a few weeks). And if somebody could give me a suggestion as to why this error is suddenly occuring, i.e. deletion/editing of CGI::Session::Serialize::default module, overloading of the disk etc, it will help me to decide how problematic this really is and help me to unwind during this stressful time. Thanks alot, Chris
