Fast CGI Execution Can't Post

Hi All,
Is there any way to make the CGI execution time shorter based on the server's configuration?

Such as Caching the Dynamic CGI output, Configure the Apache server....

If you control the machine and are using Apache, consider mod_perl. See http://perl.apache.org/

Hi,
I am new in Apache and Installing modules.
Could you mind to give me some brief guidelines about install mod_perl?

I downloaded the .tar files, but don't know the next step..

Any suggestion?

You could always read the INSTALL and other docs that come with mod_perl for one thing.. I recommend installing using dso, but that is just my preference since I am too lazy to install.

Web Monkey has a tutorial at: http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/98/38/ind
ex2a.html?tw=programming

The Oreilly book Writing Apache Modules with Perl and C is also excellent and I highly recommend you get it
