Stupid newbie! Can't Post

Windows Vista, Strawberry Perl / ActiveState Perl.

I'm not a PERL programmer. I downloaded a script and it quickly failed on the line:

use Time::HiRes qw(usleep ualarm gettimeofday tv_interval );

...witha message:

Time::HiRes::ualarm(): unimplemented in this platform

Did I fail to install something?

Thanks,

DrOrb

No, you didn't do anything wrong. It just means that the ualarm function isn't designed to work on Windows, but it will work on *nix systems.

Just don't import that function.

Code
use Time::HiRes qw(usleep gettimeofday tv_interval );

Thanks so much, FishMonger! The script is now happily spewing inscrutable messages, but I'm used to dealing with *those*.
