create graph using postgresql data Can't Post

i am using perl to interface with postgresql data resting on an unix m/c. how do i create graphs based on the data using perl?? one easy option is to use image gif's and altering the width and height parameters by control variables....any direct and helpfull method that seems to have escaped my mental horizon.....thanks in advance.

use DBI and DBD::pg to talk to the pg database.

lots of fun modules over there to help you make a graph quickly.
