marcopolo New User Apr 28, 2011, 12:54 PM Post #1 of 2 (2239 views) help please Can't Post Hi all, I am the lucky winner of my boss new project and have no clue how perl works. I have to analyze log files include date/time stamps, usernames, path, ip addresses and response time. I have to produce an xls report to indicate which actions (based on the path in log files) took longer including the username and date and time. Can anyone recommend a tool for dummies that could easily be modified? Please help ... Thank you

Again if you need a tool, another search like "log file analyzer" beings up a bunch of tools. Is there anything more specific you require to know? Chris
