How to gain access to a web server's cgi-bin directory to test out CGI Scrips? Can't Post

Hello everyone,

I am trying to teach myself Perl and CGI for web development.

I was wondering if anyone could help me set up a way where I can test out CGI scripts?

I am aware that I need to somehow gain access to a web server's cgi-bin directory in order to test my scripts out, but am not sure how to do so.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
-Matt
