Writing input to Windows command prompt using perl Can't Post

Hello,
I'm using Windows. I need to open the command prompt and putting inputs into that command prompt (eg. system "cd c:\Program Files"). However, I just able to open the command prompt only by system "cmd". Anyone can advice me how to get the input into that command prompt?

Well, this is not really a Perl question, but....

If you type

HELP CMD

on the program prompt, you will see a description of various options, including option /K which should solve your problem.
