Syntax help with HTTP POSTs Can't Post

Could use some help here since I am very unfamiliar. below is my sub, I believe I have some syntax errors and was hoping someone has done something similar before
end result should look something like:
http://127.0.0.1:9001/DREDELETEREF?docs=DocIdHere

from the logs looks like it is just getting:
http://127.0.0.1:9001/DREDELETEREF

use LWP::UserAgent;
sub DeleteURLs {
$ua = LWP::UserAgent->new;
foreach my $d (@deleted) {
my $req = POST 'http://127.0.0.1:9001/DREDELETEREF',[ Docs => $d];
print $ua->request($req)->as_string;
}
}
