merge csv files and convert them to exist excel file Can't Post

hi everyone

first thanks for your previous help !

i have 4 csv files that contain a table. all tables are same similiar size (length and width).

i need to make of this 4 table on long table with 3 changes:

1. i need to copy all tables without their first column. how do i do that?

2. i need to copy all tables without their first row. how do i do that?

3. i need to make a gap of 2 lines between each table. how do i do that?

when i am done doing that i will need to take the merged table and copy her to an existent excel file . how do i do that?

thanks in advance

george

Your overall question is to broad and based on your posting, it would appear that you're new to Perl, so this question should be in the Beginners section not the Intermediate.

What have you tried?

The basics
1. use an array slice

2. depends on how you read-in the data; line-by-line, or slurp into an array.

3. use a var for the row counter and increment it by 2 when needed.

4a. Spreadsheet::ParseExcel http://search.cpan.org/~jmcnamara/Spreadsheet-ParseExcel-0.59/lib/Spreadsheet/ParseExcel.pm

4b. Spreadsheet::WriteExcel http://search.cpan.org/~jmcnamara/Spreadsheet-WriteExcel-2.37/lib/Spreadsheet/WriteExcel.pm
