Download Protector - read i'll explain Can't Post
I'm looking for a Download Manager that limits the total # of download's -
basically to protect bandwith either per day or week, with an anti-leech... like most download scripts protect. but once whoever downloads say 100 files per day. then EVERYONE would be locked out... this way you dont have to do passwords or anything like that.. once the limit is reached thats it... no more downloads for that day or that week.

Randal L. Schwartz discussed something like this in one of his Web Techniques columns. Have a look at http://www.stonehenge.com/merlyn/WebTechniques/col21.html for inspiration.

There may be other ready-made scripts available too, but you can probably find them as easily as I can Wink
