webpage generator Can't Post

Will pay someone to help me write a script that allows site visitors to create instant web pages to host from my website. Can't pay a huge fee for this service; otherwise I would buy such software. I know html; but not perl. I will design the page templates, collect clipart and design graphics. You will write the actual code that makes the script function.

Will work with person asking lowest fee, so if you can afford to write a script for peanuts get in touch asap. Need script sooner than later. Hope somebody out there can help. Thanks

Re: webpage generator [In reply to] Can't Post

This really isn't very hard to do, as long as you set up the user input page correctly from the start. The actual creation of the page is no big deal.

The hardest part is going to be defining what you want the user to be able to do. Use form input for everything, and make sure the input is used correctly (like radio buttons for choosing a background image, text fields for page headers, textareas for larger blocks of text input).

Have the input form already designed, and I could kick out a script in a weekend.

How about this:

1. You post (or email me) a link to the input page.

2. I write the script and send it to you (no charge).

3. You put it on your server and if it works to your satisfaction, you post the source code (minus your proprietary information) to the perl/cgi archive so other people have acces to it.

Deal?

I see no problem with that. I'm working on the input forms. Will get in touch when that's done, but it will take me a little more time doing it myself. I've got a dozen other projects I'm handling at once. Thanks again
