User Status Can't Post

What determines the Status of a user (see left under 'UserName'), or actually if the user isn't an "Administrator" or a "Moderator" what is the amount of post that changes this 'Status'. I'm a "Neophyte", but I recently still was a "Beginner" or something, I've also seen "Member"s.

UBB does ranking by number of posts.

Mind you, some 'ranks' are special. No number of posts will make you an admin.

I kinda knew that, I was more interested in the exact number an how many levels there are. Also many UBB forums also have special ranks (that aren't the usual Moderator, Administrator), like "webmaster of (a related site)".

Actually, the change from Beginner to Neophyte was made on a whim. Neophyte seems much more mysterious Wink

The administrator defines who is moderators.

After 30 messages, you'll become a Member. Neophyte and Member are the only level non-moderators and non-administrators can have.
