C Question Can't Post

I know that this is stictly a perl related forum, but I really need some help. I'm trying to learn c. I downloaded a compiler from borland. It's called borland c++ compiler 5.5, maybe 5.0 I'm not totally sure.

How do I compile a written c program? That's all I want to know.

I can't find anyone who will help me, nor any tutorial that explains it. It must be such an easy task that it's not thought of as somthing anyone would need a doc on.

Any Help Is Appeciated. Thanks,

Re: C Question [In reply to] Can't Post

If it comes with a Makefile, just type 'make' (or 'gmake' on some systems). If it doesn't, you can use 'cc -o prog prog.c' (or 'gcc').

See the man pages for each for more info.
