Help Can't Post

I can't get CGI scripts to work. I have downloaded Active Perl, and there demo CGI doesn't even work. All the .pl and .asp work fine. Could someone explain this? I've got NT 4 sp6 and Front Page 2000. FP2000 will let me publish disk-based webs to my pc, but I need to add a search-engine and a classified ad section, both of which have CGI scripts. Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Help [In reply to] Can't Post

Perl programs (not CGI programs) will work just fine with just ActivePerl installed. However, if you wish to run CGI programs (programs that run through a browser), you'll need to get a web server, such as Apache ( http://www.apache.org/dist/binaries/win32/ ) installed on your computer.

You may wish to read up on installing Apache at http://tlc.perlarchive.com/0003/02.shtml

Good luck!
