Embeded script call in a script generated HTML doc Can't Post

?: Embeded script call in a script generated HTML doc

I have a perl script that generates a HTML page based on the 'myscript.pl?form=' value. This part works great.

The part I am having a problem with is that I also want the perl generated page to include a call to another perl script that will generate a form. Doing the straight:

print "<--#exec .. -->";

...format call does not produce the form at all. I know the form creating script works because if I call it directly it works fine. My thinking is that I need to print some sort of header before the #exec line. If so, what is it?

What do I need to do to get a script generated HTML page to properly execute a embedded script?

Thanks in advance.

You can't use ssi in your scripts directly, you can run ssi from your .shtml pages, not .html.
