need help on using "do" Can't Post

Hi I have a perl module abcd.pm.I have used this in my main perl script in the following manner

do "abcd.pm";

What it will do?
How it is different form "use"?

Can i use all variables in my main script? Do i need to provide package qualifier before the variable?

perldoc -f do

perldoc -f use

Again, this can be found at perldoc -f do:

... code evaluated with "do FILENAME" cannot see lexicals in the enclosing scope
