How to Control User Downloads ? Can't Post

Hello, I share some files to my friend / customers via perl/cgi script and apache web server and want to know ONLY when file is downloaded fully completed. I mean when user download 100 % of file size. Have you got any reasonable ideas how to do this ?

I think that I need to get some info from apache logs but how ?

Huge thanks for help me ;)

you could write a small daemon server that can serve the files and on completion it can signal the daemon server and then you can go from there... check the cpan.org website.
