Help to get the data from the https url in a file or variable Can't Post

Hi All,

I am new to perl scripting, so your expert help will be very important for me. I want to get the data from the web site which has a https url and store that data into a file or a variable.

I tried to use LWP::UserAgent::https module but I am getting errors in installing the module.

I tried to read about RPC::XML also but I am not sure if it works for https protocal.

I will we very glad if anyone can help me and tell me is there a way to get the data from the https site.

Thanks in Advance.

I think LWP::UserAgent is the right way to go, so I would focus on fixing the install errors, instead of searching for a different solution.

If you really searching for an alternative solution, you might use an external tool, such as GNU wget, to fetch the web page.
