At the recommendation of a friend, I picked up a book and started reading through the first few pages. It says I need Perl on my computer. Is that a compiler? Where can I get it? Purchase or freeware? Will it run on my Win 98 computer so I can test out scripts as I learn to write them? Thanks in advance.
