CPAN modules movement Can't Post

Hi,

I have CPAN modules installed on my server in a library for developing a script.

If I want to move my script to a new server. Should I want to re-install the CPAN modules once again ?

Or Can I copy the whole library directory to a new system and access it?

Please help

Is it the same operating system? Same version of the OS? same version of Perl?

In some cases, simply copying the files and directories from one system to another will work provided you put them in the right place. In most cases, however, a fresh install will be needed.

It *may* work, but there are a number of things that could go wrong because of environment specific condtions (wrong paths, etc.).

The best is really to reinstall. But you can give a try if you wish, you'll find out soon.
