Perl Server Pages?
Can't Post
Almost everybody has heard of ActiveServerPages, or ASP (cough, cough, laugh, laugh - what a stupid idea) Some have heard of JavaServerPages, or JSP (these are nice, but it's not Perl - JSP is my second choice) I want to know where PerlServerPages - PSP are! I love Perl, it is my favorite language, my entire website is written using Perl, but there are problems, especially when trying to edit a page in a WYSIWYG editor (my personal favorite - Macromedia Dreamweaver). Try to open a perl file with lots of HTML to be printed - the editor does its best to interpret the code and HTML, but it doesn't really get that far. If I could execute perl commands between two HTML tags, my life would be so much more simple! I know that in a way, that defeats the purpose of Perl, but I really wish PSP existed - does it? Have I just not heard of it? Where can I get PSP? Does anyone else share my view? Am I alone? Will I be banned from the Perl Guru because I feel that PSP would be great? Anyway, PSP needs to become a reality! -Aaron
