Not really a question. But a suggestion Can't Post

I just wanted to suggest something. I think maybe this site should offer a chat room along with the forums. Like an IRC client room

Re: Not really a question. But a suggestion [In reply to] Can't Post

A good number of the moderators and participants on these forums (myself, Cure, perlplexer, ...) hang out in the #perl channel on DALnet IRC. If you're interested, I can start up a specific #perlguru channel, or you can feel free to stop by the #perl channel.

The #perl channel topic should always include a link for you to go to that states the channel rules. The #perl channel is more for discussion and sharing of knowledge, rather than a helpdesk where we wait on you hand and foot and write code for you whenever you ask. The channel's rules are at http://www.dalnet-perl.org/.

Perhaps, though, a #perlguru channel should be formed. I'll register one, and see what happens.

I've registed #perlguru-forums on DALnet. It'll be rather empty for a while, I assume, until it catches on.
