date/time stamp from a form Can't Post

Hi all:

Is there a way to capture the date/time stamp from an email when it's mailed from a form on my website?

Thanx!

Tom

Re: date/time stamp from a form [In reply to] Can't Post

In my Guestbook program wich uses a form and creates a file has a variable like this

$date_time = localtime;

Then when I'm writing the form data to a file (in this case to the e-mail) I simply put that variable first.

print DATA "$date_time\n" #in your case the print command would need to point to the e-mail filehandle or whatever. Basically how you already have it only adding that additional variable.

Here, take a look at how it turns out.
