Tk.pm Can't Post

I have a program that needs Tk.pm.
I run perl under Ubuntu 12.04
After configuring the Makefile 'make' gives the following error:

root@reica3:/home/rein/Downloads/Tk-804.027# make
cd pTk && make DEFINE=""
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/rein/Downloads/Tk-804.027/pTk'

make[1]: *** [Xlib_f.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/rein/Downloads/Tk-804.027/pTk'
make: *** [pTk/libpTk.a] Error 2

Since I am a total beginner as far as perl is concerned I am at a loss how to solve this problem.
Can anyone help me out?
