Counting in secs Can't Post

How can I count up and down in secs and display the result?

I've looked everywhere and cant find anything to help so I hope someone here can, any ideas?

I'll have a go.
What I want is a counter that counts up and displays it on a screen like a clock, but only in seconds.

i.e. You have been here 10secs

Any better?

If you are looking for one that changes while you look at it, as far as i know, you need to look into javascript. i do not it is possible in perl

Prob is it needs to be perl, its an .pl run from DOS :)

doesn't the "sleep" function count in seconds?
