Re: [hem_k24] How to store multiple records/lines into array [In reply to] Can't Post

Your data elements are separated by spaces and you are splitting the lines on commas. That cannot work.

EDIT: and, BTW, this is not Perl monks. Wink

Re: [Laurent_R] How to store multiple records/lines into array [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Laurent_R,

my input contains comma delimited fields. I am reading each record from the file and storing each record in array.

Then i am using some table tags to print the data in table format. I hope i am able to understand the way the data was stored in array.

regards,
hem

Hi Monks,

<p>I am reading every record from csv file and stroing them in array and then printing each record in table</p>

<p>My Input is:</p>
<code>
ABC_TEK 12 DFE_YJK 24 JKL_GHY 26 LKJ_UYH 29 GHK_YTH 23 GHS_JSF 34
FHK_THE 25 SHJ_TRE 26 HSJ_TEH 39 AHJ_EGH 56 SGH_HEJ 42 HGE_THE 46
HEJ_EJJ 67 JLE_EJK 89 EHJ_EJK 78 EHJ_IKL 68 EHJ_EJK 57 EJH_EKL 69
</code>

Where do you see commas? Pls tell me if I am getting blind.

Or perhaps you should clarify your input.

BTW, this message if cross posted on Perlmonks. You should say it when you do that and also give the link, so that people here don't say again answers that you have already obtained.
