Perl error message "Can't locate HTTP/Tiny.pm in @INC " Can't Post

Dear all,

I downloaded a perl script called "Variant Effect Predictor" from "http://useast.ensembl.org/info/docs/tools/vep/script/vep_tutorial.html"

I followed the instruction to install a file called "INSTALL.pl" but got the following error message.

### Error Message #########################
Can't locate HTTP/Tiny.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8 .) at INSTALL.pl line 4.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at INSTALL.pl line 4.
######################################

### First 10 lines of INSTALL.pl ###
!/usr/bin/perl
use Getopt::Long;

use HTTP::Tiny;
use File::Listing qw(parse_dir);
use File::Path;
use File::Copy;
use Archive::Extract;
use Net::FTP;
use Cwd;
###

I don't understand what the error message actually mean. I am running this script under our center cluster. Is there any missing modules (use HTTP::Tiny;) in my cluster? If that's the case, how can I installed the missing modules without being the root user?

The perl version is v5.8.8.

Thanks!!

Kate

Yes, you are apparently missing the HTTP::Tiny module.

It can be found there: http://search.cpan.org/~dagolden/HTTP-Tiny-0.037/lib/HTTP/Tiny.pm
