HTTP REFERER Question Can't Post

I am trying to create a logging utility for my site. I am only interested in logging those hits that come from outside of my domain. In other words, if the HTTP_REFERER environment variable contains http://www.daviddurose.com in it, ignore the hit, otherwise it must have come from outside my domain, so log it. My question essentially a perl string manipulation question. How do I tell the logging utility to ignore the http_referer if it comes from daviddurose.com plus anything attached attached to the end of my domain name? Thanks for your help.

Re: HTTP REFERER Question [In reply to] Can't Post

Code
logstat() if $ENV{'HTTP_REFERER'} !~ m[^http://(www\.)?daviddurose.com];

Hope this helps!
