PPM, what am i missing? Can't Post

Another newbie question!

When I view the PPM videos on the net, typing PPM brings up the “Perl Package Manager” windows form interface that lists your packages, lets you search for others, and has the interface to load new packages.

When I type in PPM on my system I get a command like prompt:

PPM interactive shell (11.11_02) - type 'help' for available commands.

I’m using strawberry perl, eclipse and epic.

What am I missing?

Strawberry perl only provides the command line version of ppm.

You could try searching ActiveState's site for the gui download. If you can't find it, then post your question on their forum to see if someone there could point you to it.
